Longhorn Band Performs at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center

Band-O-Rama is a free, annual concert event and presented by the Longhorn Band. The program showcases the talents of these students through performances by concert and jazz bands, along with the Longhorn Band drumline and colorguard. Presented at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, April 30 at 7PM, the concert bands, jazz bands, drumline and colorguard will also come together for a grand finale, performing as the legendary “Showband of the Southwest,” the Longhorn Band.

The concert and jazz bands will perform standard works, and the Longhorn Band will perform traditional favorites as well as preview two selections from this fall's halftime show line up. Conductors include: Robert Carnochan, Director of the Longhorn Band, Scott Hanna, Associate Director of the Longhorn Band, John Watkins Jr., Assistant Director of the Longhorn Band and guest conductors G. Scott Bersaglia, Benjamin Finley, Albert Nguyen, Mary Schneider and John VanderGheynst.
