No Tricks, Just Treats

Hi, howdy, hello! I hope all you Applause readers find yourselves in good spirits this month. I cannot complain for October is one of my favorite months of the year. There’s TX-OU weekend (it’s our year, I know it!!), my birthday, the beginning of the UT Basketball season, Halloween and of course about a million events to attend at the Erwin Center!

First ch-check it out, the Beastie Boys are this month’s featured artist. Those boys from the boroughs are hitting the Erwin Center stage Friday, October 22 at 8PM. I will definitely be there, fighting for my right to party, and you should come join me! Look for the person without any rhythm.

You won’t want to miss our other October events either. Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married?” starring Kelly Price is October 9 and 10, Larry The Cable Guy’s October 15 and Barney’s Colorful World is October 19 and 20. You can plan for the future as well with Peter, Paul and Mary on November 4, Austin’s Own Rock Fest featuring Scorpions, Tesla, UFO, and Keith Emerson Band on November 12, Trans-Siberian Orchestra on December 11 and The Harlem Globetrotters “World of Fun” Tour on February 10.

As you can see, we have a pretty busy schedule so I have to bid everyone adieu for now and get back to work. Happy reading!
