November at the Frank Erwin Center means one thing: basketball! Both the Longhorn men and women are poised for success after last season's strong push into the NCAA tournament.

The women open the with two exhibition games and then hit the court running in the State Farm Women's Tip-Off Classic on November 14. The Tip-Off Classic features Baylor vs. LSU at 12:30PM and Texas vs. Penn State at 3PM. The other big match up of the month is Texas vs. Tennessee on Thanksgiving Day. That game will be nationally televised as two of the most successful coaches and teams in women's college basketball face each other on the court.

The men will also start November with two exhibition games, the first against Lenoir Rhyne, Coach Barnes' alma mater. They will take on the Bobcats from Texas State in their opener and then head to the EA Sports Maui Invitational. The strong field in Maui includes BYU, Chaminade, Iowa, Louisville, North Carolina, Stanford and Tennessee. The men will finish the month at home against Coppin State.
