March Madness Is Here!

Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Arriving with a vengeance, the March Madness I promised has finally docked at the Erwin Center. We’ve got non-stop basketball, tennis, arena football, plays and upcoming concerts to keep you occupied through the Ides of March.

We wouldn’t be Austin’s premier location for entertainment if we didn’t offer the very best of basketball! Not only will high school standouts battle for the UIL state championship title, but the Erwin Center will host the regional women’s NCAA first and second round games. Stay tuned for teams and ticket information.

Freshly added to the Gibson-Baldwin Grand Slam Jam Tennis Shootout are tennis superstars John McEnroe and Corina Morariu. Original tennis bad boy McEnroe is sure to give fans a memorable time while cancer survivor Morariu is a reigning women’s doubles sensation. Tickets are on sale now for the April 30 event!

Already in progress is the newest addition to arena football - the Austin Wranglers. The Wranglers kicked off their long-awaited home opener at the Erwin Center in February against the Tampa Bay Storm in front of Texas-sized crowds.

Debuting in the newly anointed Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center will be “Madea’s Class Reunion.” Critically acclaimed on the Urban Theater circuit, “Madea” combines comedy, music and most importantly a message. Tickets for the three performances are going quick!
