Jazz Supreme
The world of jazz is as diverse as the world itself. We will take
you through a history of jazz, beginning with Ornette Coleman,
the father of experimental “free” jazz, as he shares
the textured and enriching form that pushes the envelope. Then
experience the extraordinary and beloved marriage of styles from
one of the leaders of the Latin jazz movement—Poncho Sanchez.
Finally, Kenny Garrett, one of the world’s leading jazz
alto saxophonists, rounds out the series.
Leaps and Bounds
Colossal Strength. Incredible Beauty. Trailblazing Innovation.
No need to go to New York or abroad to experience the excitement
and wonder of the most accomplished dancers in the world. Come
see two of history’s most revered dance companies, The American
Ballet Theatre and Martha Graham Dance Company, who represent
important cornerstones of classical and modern dance.
Voice Power
How do you feel when a single note reverberates through your soul
straight through to your heart? That’s what the best vocalists
in the world can do. This powerful musical package includes one
of the world’s finest sopranos, a celebrated Portuguese
songstress; a grand chorus for the holidays; and a beloved blues
family. |
