Soccer Season Gears Up

Count on another exciting season of Longhorns soccer at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The University of Texas women’s soccer team not only returns 18 letter winners, but also 10 of its 11 starters that earned UT’s third straight NCAA Tournament berth.

Under the direction of sixth-year head coach Chris Petrucelli, the Longhorns are led by All-American senior forwards Kelly McDonald and Kelly Wilson, who currently rank first and second, respectively, in school history in career points and goals. Senior goalkeeper Alex Gagarin and senior defender Laura Kram will headline the squad defensively.
