Hilary Duff

Wednesday, August 18

Double-Duff Action

Hilary and Haylie Duff are two pop sisters poised to have a sizzling summer. Together they are touring, recording albums and releasing a duet. In fact, the single, a cover of the Go-Go’s 1982 classic “Our Lips Are Sealed,” will be featured on the soundtrack to Hilary’s movie “A Cinderella Story,” opening July 16.

Hilary’s label was aware the sisters wanted to work together so when the girls found this song, Hilary’s exact words were, “Yes! We have to do this!”

“I thought it fit in the movie because there’s a secret relationship going on in ‘A Cinderella Story’ and it’s kind of like a secretive song,” Haylie said. The sisters debuted their version of “Our Lips Are Sealed” at the May Wango Tango On-Air festival in Pasadena, CA.

Haylie Duff, who wrote “Inner Strength” on Hilary’s Metamorphosis, is currently helping her sister on her follow-up album as well as recording her own album, which will likely feature a Hilary appearance. “We’re halfway finished and it will be out in August,” Haylie said. Haylie will also be opening for Hilary on her summer tour and the evenings will end with the “Our Lips Are Sealed” duet.
