The
Erwin Center: “House of Horrors” for Texas Women’s Basketball
Opponents
The No. 5 ranked Texas women's basketball team, off to a 7-1 start this
season, have given the Longhorn faithful at the Frank Erwin Center plenty
to cheer about over the years. Entering their Dec. 14th home contest against
North Texas, the Longhorns continued a 22-game home-court win streak - the
sixth longest current homecourt win streak in the nation.
Season after season, fans at the Erwin Center have seen Texas win an astounding
87 percent of its games at home! In fact, the Erwin Center is the THIRD-TOUGHEST
arena in the nation (based on UT's home winning percentage) for an opposing
team to win at!
Last
year, Texas picked up its first-ever Big 12 regular season and tournament
championships and made the program's fourth trip to the prestigious
Final Four. Right now, the Longhorns are in search of two more Big 12 titles
and another trip to the NCAA "Big Dance", and your support
in the Erwin Center can help them get there! In 2003, Texas went a perfect 15-0 at home; to date, the Horns are 2-0
at the Erwin Center this season. Take a look at the schedule below
and come
watch the VERY BEST in women's basketball compete in Austin this winter!
