Graphics Designer/Web Intern
Job Type – Internship/Part time
Salary - $13.47/hour
Job Description - The Frank Erwin Center marketing department has an immediate opening for a Graphics Designer/Web Intern to assist the Graphics Designer. Primary responsibilities include updating and maintaining our website and blog, HTML email messages and various other online promotions. You will also be assisting with the design and production of advertisements, posters, and various other forms of printed and digital media.
Preferred Job Qualifications - Knowledge and experience in web and print design in a Macintosh environment; Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, Flash, Drupal, WordPress, and video editing. Experience using an Email marketing tool a plus! Must be available to work Monday-Friday (15-19 hrs per week).

Marketing Intern

Salary - $8/hour
Job Description - The Marketing department of the Frank Erwin Center is in need of an intern to begin work in as soon as possible. We are responsible for marketing all aspects of professional entertainment public-ticketed events held at the Frank Erwin Center. This includes buying advertising (electronic, print, outdoor), promoting events with appropriate radio and television stations and print publications, generating publicity for upcoming events and writing press releases sent to the local media, developing group ticket sales for family shows and special events, creating advertising and promotional pieces for upcoming events, sponsorship fulfillment, and publishing and selling advertising on our blog, Applause. We are also responsible for game day event coordination for UT Men's and Women's Basketball.
Job Qualifications - A responsible student seeking a degree in communications, marketing, advertising or other related field. Must be able to work approximately 13-17 hours per week Monday through Friday, and occasional evenings, weekends and holidays and commit to stay until December 31, 2014. Must have a Texas Driver's License. Computer skills needed include Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and FileMaker Pro. Proficient in PR style writing and AP style is preferred. This internship can be used for class credit. This position is available as soon as possible and can end at the conclusion of the second Fall semester or can be extended indefinitely based on both party’s needs.
